About

Who runs it

GRVL is a service of MKZ Systems, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. It is built by the people who run Hidden Token Gaming, a variety gaming community, and who build gravel, the open-source framework GRVL runs.

Why it exists

Running a community's servers, stats and identity well is a full-time ops job. Someone has to provision the servers, take the backups, test the restores, watch the monitors, apply the updates and fix things at two in the morning. Most community owners should not have to do that. They should get to run their community.

GRVL takes the ops job. The community keeps everything else: its members, its data, its Discord and its say over how things run.
